INDICATING PRESSURE SWITCH
In hydraulic and pneumatic systems which have electrical control, pressure switch is used for opening and closing electrical contacts. This instrument is used to turn an electrical circuit off or on in a determined pressure. When pressure reaches the determined setpoint pressure, an electrical contact activates. The activated contact sends command to the determined location by transmitting an electrical signal. More elaborated models have monitors and cover an output between 4 to 20 ma.
